The following information is specific for Postgraduate Coursework Students in the Masters of Accounting (Professional) and the Masters of Accounting (CPA Extension)
Study Support
The Centre for Macquarie English (CME) will provide three workshops to assist students with academic, writing and business communication skills.
- The Academic Support Workshops will be conducted on a weekly basis. They address specific academic problems such as listening and note taking, exam preparation and essay writing. Students can also raise their own study concerns with the lecturer.
- The Refining Writing Skills Workshops are designed for students in Audit Groups 1* and 1. However all students are welcome.
- The Business Communications Workshops are designed for students who are nearing the end of their Postgraduate Diploma and Master of Accounting. The emphasis is on oral communication in a business rather than an academic environment.
